SureOps10: a Decade in the Making

Ten years ago, SureConsult introduced SureOps in response to a clear need for a comprehensive, harmonized deicing operating and training program.

The goal was straightforward: develop an off-the-shelf solution that was technically sound, operationally practical, and easy to implement.

What began as an ambitious concept has grown into the most widely adopted program in Canada, supporting training, procedures, compliance, and continuous improvement across the industry. Each SureOps version has been shaped by real-world experience, lessons learned in the field, insights from audits, evolving regulations and standards, and the shared knowledge of the SureOps user community.

More importantly over the last decade, SureOps become a shared language for its user community, a way for deicing operators and airlines to align around safe, consistent, and compliant winter operations.

This year, SureConsult marks the 10-year anniversary of SureOps with the release of SureOps10 on July 1, 2026. This isn’t a reinvention but a continuation, a refinement of everything that’s come before it, shaped by a decade of experience and commitment. SureOps10 reflects not only where the deicing industry stands today, but where it’s headed.
